School Report on
Christmas Celebration
'Christmas will always be as long as
we stand heart to heart and hand in hand'.
It is the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas isn't just a day;
it is a frame of mind and a season of rejoicing and reflection.
Soaking in the spirit of our school celebrated Christmas on 24th
December 2019 and spread the message of sharing and caring.
The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red
and white (Santa's favourite colours). In a special assembly the students of
class-IX presented the Thought for the day, the Word of the Day, Quiz and News.
The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully on the Christmas
Carols. The significance of the festival was explained to the students
through the Christmas Story. The boundless joy of celebrating the
festival was amply visible on the faces of all the students when Santa moved
around distributing sweets to them and their classrooms were decorated
accordingly.
An Inter House Christmas Tree Decoration Competition was
organised for the students. The Christmas tree was decorated with lamps and
toys and lights in the reception area. Aakash House stood first in the
competition.
In the recess Class wise Parties were also organised for the
students.
The importance of *Tulsi Diwas* was also shared with the children
and they were apprised about the unlimited benefits of having a Tulsi plant at
home.
The students of kindergarten visited the Church and understood the
importance of Christmas.
The Principal wished the students Merry Christmas and reiterated the
importance of Christmas celebrations, Carols and Santa's message.
Christmas is the perfect time to
celebrate
the love of God and family
and to create memories that will last
forever.
Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable
gift.
The amazing thing is that
not only are we able to receive this
gift,
but we are able to share it with others
on Christmas
and every other day of the year.
