A grand Annual Exhibition with the theme ‘Latest Techniques for Interactive Classroom Learning’ was hosted by the school on 10th August in the school premises. It was inaugurated by the school Chairperson.

 

The event saw young enthusiastic participants from different classes exhibiting innovative models and projects. The students of Pre-Primary, Primary and Middle Wing of the school displayed their creative, aesthetic and scientific talent showing innovative and brilliant projects, working models, meticulously put together after undertaking intensive study and research work.

 

A ‘Nukkad Natak’ with a hard-hitting narrative set against a powerful backdrop that stays with you long after you’ve left the place, beamed out the message that every child is different in abilities and talents. So they must be allowed to bloom as per their own choice of careers. A great script merged with the amazing performances of the students of classes-VI & VII.

 

In pursuit of the language perfection, English Department displayed the books- Fiction & Non-Fiction put up by the book lovers of classes- IV to VII along with the Creative Assignments on which they worked in summer vacations as ‘Learning never takes a holiday.’ English department displayed models on Grammar Topics and Picture Compositions, ASL Activities, Quiz Sessions for visitors.

 

Hindi and Sanskrit Department presented their project works and models based on Grammar rules in a colourful and picturesque form. The students described their charts & assignments to the guests confidently.

 

Mathematics Department captivated the visitors by their ‘Mathemagic’ projects, charts, working models and the students costumed in the shape of rectangle, square, circle etc. The students showed their mental math skills & Vedic math talent. Their Exhibitions targeted on the areas that make this subject more related to real life.

 

Science Department presented ‘Science- a Scintillating Symphony’, going against the grain of conventional wisdom Science Exhibition displayed experimental and experiential learning through charts, working models, models etc.

 

Robotics presented robots made by the students and graphic designs made by the robots. All these were highly appreciated by the visitors, guests & parents. The students were able to explain the working and the main science behind it.

 

Social Studies Department put up the exhibits show casing ‘Kaleidoscopic view of human development from early to modern age. The students presented various charts, models, artifacts of ancient era and utensils & tools of ancient era were displayed. EVS students of classes-III & IV brought forth the benefits of healthy eating ‘Food We Eat- Healthy and Junk Food’, demonstrated delicious and healthy recipes. The students of class-V talked about ‘Herbal Healing’ (a botanical garden) verbalized how our world can flourish by nurturing the environment rather than plundering it.

 

The French Department presented the photo frames, French cuisines, charts and a model with the Eiffel Tower and the students dressed in French traditional costumes and conversed in French with the visitors. They made the guests taste the French cuisines prepared by them.

 

Art & Craft Department adorned the corridors with wonderful and mesmerizing art work done by the budding artists.

Art Display:The month of august started with a fresh breath of creativity wherein they had exhibited works of students of class Nursery to VII which included the group projects and individual projects and the work done in the Summer Excellence Programme in the school in the month of May. The exhibition had several topics like:

  • Ø Paintings inspired from Van Gogh
  • Ø Handprints
  • Ø Mural Art
  • Ø Man & Woman installation
  • Ø Collage
  • Ø Pen stands
  • Ø Handmade Paper Bags
  • Ø Illustration
  • Ø Madhubani

 

Astronomy and Space Department enraptured the spectators with huge telescopes and weighing machines showing our weight at different planets and the rocket science. This department attracted a huge crowd at their telescopes and huge size models.

K.G & Class 1 displayed different seasons and pet and wild animals with their physical features, habitat and eating habits for the exhibition in the school’s stilt area. The art work displayed was entirely done by the students as group activities in their respective classrooms under the guidance of art teachers and class teachers. Different techniques and textures were used such as-

Cotton dabbing and pasting

 Potato dabbing

- Tear and Paste

- Wool pasting

-  Fevicol texture painting

-  Pasting tea leaves

- Hand printing

- Thumb  printing and

- Sponge painting

The kids were able to differentiate between habitat of pet and wild animals.

 

The Principal, the Coordinator and the Primary Incharge admired and appreciated the application of imagination, talent and disciplined enthusiasm of the students and the teachers. They applauded them for putting up a fabulous show. The unique and holistic experiences of embracing the analytical and artistic talent of the students were highly acknowledged by the parents and visitors.
