NEET
UG 2021: Important information has been released from the Central
Government about whether the pattern of NEET UG-2021 will change or
not.
Learn
what the Secretary of Higher Education said in this regard ...
NEET
UG-2021: Exam update: Millions of students are
waiting for the announcement of NEET 2021 for admission in Medical UG
i.e. MBBS and BDS courses. The examination for the first session
of JEE Main has been completed, but the schedule of NEET has been
announced now. Now information has come from the Central Government on
the question of change in NEET exam pattern.
The
Ministry of Education wanted the Medical Entrance
Examination to be conducted more than once a year, like engineering
and to shift it from pen-paper mode to computer mode. But there was no time
agreement with the Ministry of Health (Heath Ministry). Although JEE
Mains are done four times a year and almost 28% of students in other
attendants see their scores rising (based on 2020 results), such demand has
started to increase for NEET UG as well.
Higher
Education Secretary, Amit Khare said that “We think NEET
should be more than once a year because many times students are nervous due to
an attachment and are unable to concentrate in the exam. Students’ whole year will
not be getting spoiled if conducted for more than one exam. Now, if the
frequency of the exam increases, it will be shifted to computer mode because it
will not be possible on pen-paper.”
Will the pattern change this year?
Higher
Education Secretary, Amit Khare has indicated that the
pattern of NEET will be changed. But he also said that changing the
pattern on short notice would be an injustice to the students. Changes in the
pattern will be reported to students at least 6 to 8 months in advance.
