School Report on Junior School Investiture Ceremony:

APS endeavours towards the amalgamation of knowledge, humanity, empathy, physical growth, beautifully intertwined with opportunities for the students to tread the path towards success and be leaders of tomorrow. The school held its Junior School Investiture Ceremony for the session 2023-24 on September 2, 2023 with the pivotal goal to tap the leadership quality in the early years of the students and to develop a sense of responsibility towards self, peers, teachers, environment, and the nation.

The ceremony was held in the gracious presence of the Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) B. L Chaudhary, Medical Director, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, New Delhi, Regional Director of Health Services, West Delhi. This event saw our young leaders don the mantle of leadership and pledge to discharge their responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. 

The Chief Guest, accompanied by the School Director, Ms. Jeanie N Aibara, the Principal, Ms. Himani Asija, the Vice Principal, Dr. Shalini Prasad and Headmistress, Ms. Nitika Sakhun Choudhary commenced the event with the lamp lighting ceremony followed by the Principal’s address.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, the newly appointed Junior School Council members marched to the beat of the drum and were sworn in by the Chief Guest. The Students' Council took a pledge to discharge their duties to the best of their abilities and abide by the rules and regulations of the school. The dignitaries conferred certificates to the elected leaders. The Junior School Head Boy, Vikhyaat Wahi, the Head Girl, Parina Jain and the President of Students' Council, Veera Kaur along with the appointees who stood tall, holding their House flags, aspiring to bring in many more laurels to the institution.

The Chief Guest, Prof. (Dr.) B. L. Chaudhary, in his speech, emphasized the importance of inner quality and the belief that students of today are the visionaries and torch bearers of tomorrow. It is important that these young leaders are listened to and encouraged to take an active part in promoting the aims and objectives of the school.

The Cultural Event was a showcase of the colourful and unforgettable extravaganza. From the mesmerizing dance performance remembering the quintessential lord, the play ‘The Magic Puck’- an adaptation to the William Shakespeare's Play ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream,’ that left the spellbound audience in an awe to another dance depicting the young leaders who are the bright beams of change, the auditorium, reverberated with applause. 

The programme was concluded by honouring the Excellence Awardees of the session 2022-23 and Vote of thanks by the Vice Head Boy, Naman Khubchandani and the Vice Head Girl, Asees Kaur Sikka.
