Stress Management during Exams

 The greatest weapon against stress is our ability to choose one thought over another. It is not stress that kills us; it is our reaction to it. Many of us struggle with stress–at work and in our personal life. Like any problem, stress requires a strategic approach to conquer, or at least manage.

Stress is real, but we always have a choice- we can let it consume us or we learn to control it. All children have examinations. It is also natural to be stressed in such a situation. In the pressure of performing well and bringing good marks, many people fall prey to stress in exam time. But it depends on you how much you allow stress to dominate you. Let me tell you, a little stress encourages you to perform well. But more stress can also affect your performance as well as health. We should know some tips, by following which we will be able to stay free from stress during exams.

Exam time is considered to be a stressful time for every student, which is why before the commencement of the annual examinations on 3rd February 2020 a special assembly on the theme ‘Stress Management during Exams’ was conducted by Class-VII.

The assembly commenced with the Word of the Day, Thought for the Day, News, and Quiz, a Poem, a Speech & a short skit based on Stress Management during exams was performed to emphasize the theme.

The Principal reiterated how sleep and study breaks are important for their health during exams and shared various study tips with the students for their better concentration and performance in exams. The Academic Coordinator of the school gave a short & crisp speech on the importance of exams & stress buster tips.
