CBI told Riya Chakraborty's allegations fictitious, said - FIR on Sushant's sisters is illegal

The CBI has described the allegations levelled by Riya Chakraborty on the sisters of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as fictitious and speculative. The agency said this while filing a petition in the Bombay High Court. Last month, Riya Chakraborty lodged an FIR at Bandra police station in Mumbai against Priyanka and Meetu Singh, the sister of the late actor, for allegedly forging fake documents of Sushant Singh Rajput medicines.

 

Riya Chakraborty, through her lawyer Satish Maneshinde, had lodged a case against Priyanka and Mitu Singh for making fake medical papers at the Bandra police station. Now these allegations of Riya Chakraborty have been described by the CBI as purely fiction and speculation. The agency said that an FIR cannot be filed on the basis of such speculation. The CBI has said this in response to the petition of Priyanka Singh and Mitu Singh, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput.

 

Riya Chakraborty was the late actor's girlfriend. He was accused of abetment to suicide by Sushant's family. So at the same time Riya Chakraborty had filed a case against Priyanka and Mitu Singh on charges of making fake medical papers. Recently, Priyanka and Mitu filed a petition in Bombay Highcourt, requesting the Mumbai Police to quash the FIR registered against them.

 

Riya Chakraborty filed a petition in the Bombay High Court on Tuesday against this petition of Priyanka and Mitu. She has requested the court to dismiss the petition revoking the FIR lodged against Priyanka and Mitu Singh, sister of the late actor. She has also said that she has serious allegations and whose investigation by this agency is very important.

 

Riya Chakraborty had said in her petition that Priyanka and Mitu Singh have violated the NDPS Act. She said, 'Sushant Singh Rajput died five days after the prescription of the said prescription, in which he was given medicines illegally at the behest of his sister (Priyanka) and Dr. Tarun Kumar. Therefore, it is very important to have a thorough investigation. This petition by Riya Chakraborty appeared before the bench of Justices SK Shinde and MS Karnik asking both the CBI and Mumbai Police to complete the investigation by November 4.
