Christmas Celebration (25 December)

Christmas Celebration (25 December)

Theme - ‘All Around the Christmas Tree’

Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate

the love of God and family

and to create memories that will last forever.

Jesus is God’s perfect, indescribable gift.

 The amazing thing is that

not only are we able to receive this gift,

but we are able to share it with others

 on Christmas

and every other day of the year.

Christmas Celebration in Schools

'Christmas will always be as long as we stand heart to heart and hand in hand'.

It is the most wonderful time of the year. Christmas isn't just a day; it is a frame of mind and a season of rejoicing and reflection.

Schools celebrate Christmas every year. It is essential to convey the messages of Lord Jesus Christ to the students, such as love, affection and peace.

The Millenium Public School brought together a Christmas Assembly on- ‘All Around the Christmas Tree’. Through the drama, the students learnt about the significance of different ornaments used to decorate the Christmas tree, which convey the message of love, peace and affection to the students. The surprise entry of a special character, group recitations and dance performances and Christmas Carols also added the fun element to the assembly.

The 25-minute programme accommodated a minimum 50 participants. The assembly had a main manual illustrating the flow of the event, i.e. compere’s speech with the drama script having the detailed dialogues of the roles/characters and the songs for the dance performances and group recitations. Costumes, music files, stage backdrops, arrangement of stage props and stage/ entrance/ venue decorations were the main attractions of the well planned and performed assembly in the morning.

The assembly was appropriately planned for the participation of students from Classes- 1 to 10. The distribution of roles in drama/ dances to the students depended on the sole discretion of the school teachers. Also, the school conducted it for the students of all the grades from Class 1 to 10.

Soaking in the spirit of Christmas the school celebrated Christmas on 24th December 2020 and spread the message of sharing and caring.

The school was beautifully decorated and everybody was dressed in red and white (Santa's favourite colour). In a special assembly the students of class-IV presented the Thought for the day, the Word of the Day, Quiz and News. The students sang melodious carols and danced beautifully on the Christmas Carols. The significance of the festival was explained to the students through the Christmas Story. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was amply visible on the faces of all the students when Santa moved around distributing sweets to them and their classrooms were decorated accordingly.
