New Guidelines of CBSE Term-1 Board Exam OMR Sheet Pattern 2021

CBSE changed the pattern of examination, the question of which the answer is not known will also have to be answered

CBSE Term-1 Board Exam 2021: In the latest Exam Paper Pattern, if you have given a wrong answer to a four-circle answer in the sample paper and want to correct it, then there is one box for the correct answer and one box for not solving or knowing the question.

CBSE Term-1 Board Exam 2021: On November 9th, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the sample of OMR sheet after the roll numbers of the candidates who appeared for the first stage high school and inter school board exams. In the sample paper, four circles (open circles) of one answer are given, if given wrong answer and want to correct it, then one box for the correct answer and another circle for not solving the question paper are also given.

On the basis of the sample of OMR sheet, schools will organize practice sessions for the students to practice the exam so that there is no error. The special thing is that the Board will issue the OMR sheet going for the examination, in which all the details including the name of the student and school, roll number, question paper and school name code will be mentioned. The examinee will have to answer only one.

For the first time in the board examination, there will be six circles instead of four on the OMR sheet.

The number of questions will vary subject wise. Whereas on the OMR sheet, there will be a maximum of 60 optional question circles. The number of questions in the subject in which there will be answers can be filled in the circle. If a subject has 45 questions and the student fills the answer of any question in the 46th circle, it will become invalid.

The CBSE Board has given instructions to the schools and made it is clear that on the day, the examination will be held in the school, apart from the students attempting the examination, the students of other classes will have a holiday on the day of Board Exam in the school. In order to conduct the fair examination, a supervisor from another school will be deputed at each center who will come from the other school. While other invigilation duties will be done by the school teachers only. The 90 minutes exam will start at 11.30 am. The students will be given 20 minutes extra to read the question paper.

Important decision of the Board regarding transparent examination:

In order to conduct the examination on the OMR sheet for the first time, the board has instructed the students to fill a circle even if they do not answer the question. Board experts say that the purpose of the board behind this is to conduct transparent and fair examinations. So that after the examination no one fills the answer in any circle in lieu of that question.

This time the Board has made changes in many rules regarding the cleanliness. Of these, this is also an important step. The board has released the circular on the website. -- Ajit Dixit, District Coordinator, CBSE.
