School Report on Blood Donation Camp

 “Donate blood, save life! Donate blood, give a smile to someone. Donate blood and gift someone a precious life. Your blood can give a life to someone.”

A very successful and an acclaimable Blood Donation Camp was commendably organized by Ambience Public School, Safdarjung Enclave in collaboration with Red Cross Society & Alumni Association of the school on 7th October 2023 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

There was a team of 5 doctors, 7 nurses and pharmacists presented themselves at the designated venues with necessary equipment. The ambulance, beds, snacks and other allied items were amply arranged by the Red Cross Society.

Since 8:00 am people from different walks of life started queuing up to donate blood. Among them, staff & teachers, parents & alumni & modern youths between 17 to 25 years were in full zeal to donate blood. The donors were required to fill up a google form after their medical parameters were checked to ensure their health being conducive to blood donation. 

The Alumni & Student Council of Ambience Public School in collaboration with the esteemed Indian Red Cross Society organized an acclaimable Blood Donation Camp on 7th October 2023 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The donors’ photographs were clicked and snacks were also given to them. An ambulance was present to help any mishap.

Every enthusiastic donor felt proud to donate for a noble cause. More than 200 people (alumni, parent & employees) came to donate and 79 units of blood was collected.

The Red Cross Society representative issued 'A Donor's Certificate' to the donors. The Principal of the School thanked all for doing the noble cause of charity. She iterated that even a single drop of blood can save a precious life.

"You don't have to have a superpower to be a hero. Just donate blood."
