(Do these 7 tasks immediately after a heart attack or while feeling its symptoms, your life will be saved)
What to do if a heart
attack or its symptoms are felt? If you get a heart attack, then you
adopt these 7 tips to save your life. Learn what the symptoms of
heart attack are and what is necessary to prevent it.
People get
nervous on hearing the name of the heart attack, because they have seen
hundreds of people dying around them due to heart attack. But do you
know when the symptoms of heart attack are felt, if the patient or the
people around him follow some important instructions at the right time, and
then the patient's life can be saved. My mother had a silent heart attack. She
was dying but we were ignorant about the treatment and couldn’t help her but to
see her dying slowly.
In fact, a heart
attack is a medical emergency that means that the sooner someone starts
treatment, the more likely they are to avoid treatment. But it is not necessary
that whenever a person has a heart attack, there should be a helper
around him or a hospital is present. In such a situation, remembering some
important points can give the patient at least the time to reach the hospital.
Let us know what those important things are:
What are the reasons of a heart attack?
As you know that
the blood flow in our whole body remains at all times. Our heart does this work
to flow this blood into the whole body. The right side of the heart pumps the
blood present in your body into your lungs.
From here oxygen
dissolves in the blood and then that blood enters the left part of your heart.
The left part of your heart re-pumps this oxygenated blood and sends it to all
parts of the body.
Heart attack
comes when blood does not reach your heart. This causes the heart cells to die.
What symptoms can identify a heart attack?
- ·
Severe
chest pain due to heart attack. Many times chest pain is felt moving between
the left shoulder and jaw.
- ·
Apart
from this, intense pain may also be felt on the spine between the back.
- ·
Suddenly
darkness falls in front of the eyes and begins to lose consciousness, fainting,
- ·
The
patient may have nausea, indigestion, heart burn or abdominal pain, light-headedness
and sudden dizziness.
- ·
If
the person is walking or standing, he may fall while walking.
- ·
Along
with severe pain, cold sweat starts on the face and forehead and a strong heat
is felt.
What to do when a heart attack occurs?
There are some
things to keep in mind when you feel any of the symptoms mentioned above.
Following these instructions at the right time can save the life of a heart
attack patient (even if it is you).
- ·
First
call the ambulance. Call the national emergency number 102 or
find out the emergency ambulance service number of your state and save it on
the phone.
- ·
Sit wherever you are, in whatever situation.
If you have a chair or seat around you, then sit on it. If nothing, sit on the
ground.
- ·
If your clothes are tight, loosen them immediately. Open the top
button of the shirt and if wearing a tie around the neck, then loosen it.
- ·
Take deep breaths loudly. Count while
breathing. The deeper and faster you breathe, the sooner your lungs will get
oxygen.
- ·
Chew
300mg aspirin tablets immediately. If a person has had a heart attack
before or is a victim of high blood pressure, then he should take 2-3
aspirin tablets with him. If you do not have an aspirin tablet, ask
people around you for help.
- ·
Immediately
after aspirin, place 1 tablet of nitroglycerin under your tongue and
suck it.
- ·
If
you do not feel any decrease in pain, then take 1 more tablet of nitroglycerin
in 15 minutes.
- ·
Begin
CPR if the person is unconscious.
If you follow at
least these instructions, then you will get enough time till the ambulance
arrives and the patient reaches the hospital. After reaching the hospital, the
doctor can start your treatment and examination. This way you can overcome the
risk of heart attack with a little caution. If you ever had heart
disease, high blood pressure or cholesterol, keep 2
tablets of 300 mg aspirin and 2 tablets of nitroglycerin in your
purse or pocket.
