With
this let’s start the English Rhyme Recitation Competition.
Good
Morning, the galaxy of your Excellency, invited judges, worthy teachers and my
dear fellow mates. How different is this morning!
Dear
Audience, you will yourself discover as the colours of the English Poem
Recitation Competition unfolds.
Now
I’ll introduce the revered judges for the day:

Now
I’ll share with you the Rules of the Competition:

The numbers of participants from each
section of Grade 8 are 2.
- ·
Each participant will get 2 to 2.50
minutes to introduce themselves and the recitation of the poem.
The
participants will be judged on the following parameters:
- Ø Introduction-
10 marks
- Ø Confidence-
10 marks
- Ø Expression
& Intonation- 10 marks
- Ø Memory
& Time- 10 marks

1.
Here comes our next contestant ARUSHI
of Class VIII-E. The title of her poem is ‘FOREIGN LAND’.

rhythmic language.”
2. Now
I would like to invite NISHTHA of Class VIII-F. The title of her poem is ‘GUILT
OF PAIN’.

3. Our next participant is JANYA of Class VIII-G.
The title of her poem is ‘GIRL CHILD’.

4. Now I call SIMRAN of Class VIII-H. The title
of her poem is ‘THE ROAD NOT TAKEN’.

5. Here comes our next participant AASTHA of
Class VIII-A. The title of her poem is ‘IF’.

6. Here is ANUSHKA of Class VIII-B. The title of
her poem is ‘DEAD ALIVE’.

7. Now I invite DHRUV of Class VIII-C to recite his poem. The title of his poem is
‘NIGHT OF THE SCORPION’.
