Farewells are always the fond memories in our hearts. By hearing the name of Farewell, the first thing that comes to our mind is our old memories of schools or colleges. Other than schools and colleges, the farewell is also associated with offices. ‘Vidai Samahros’ are those times when a person leaves our office, college or school and we formally remember the good moments spent with him/her and respect him/her and wish him/her the best of life ahead. At this time, we pour our hearts out in an emotional farewell speech for our partner, friend, boss and teacher, through which we tell them their value in our life. Either as seniors or juniors, farewells are tough.

A grand Farewell cum Good Luck Party was organized by Class-IX students for outgoing batch of Class-X students in the school auditorium on 17th February 2022.

 

The Auditorium echoed with the blessings when teachers and Class-IX students came together to wish the best of both worlds and bid farewell to the outgoing batch of Class-X. The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with schoolmates and teachers to reminisce joyous moments. The Auditorium was festooned appropriately and was endeavoured to leave a trail of nostalgia behind for the tenthies.

 

The elegantly dressed tenthies showed up in their finery and were little nostalgic. The captivating dances, mesmerizing songs and enjoyable group games were dedicated to them. The students of Class-X walked on the ramp and enjoyed the glitter. They described the object chosen by them. On the basis of their presence of mind, gait, confidence, introduction and appearance they were selected for further rounds and titles.

 

The prestigious title of *Mr APS* went to *Ajitesh Boora* and *Ms. APS* to *Pranjal Arya*. The title of *Mr. Impressionist* was given to *Bharat Arora*. *Ms. Enigmatic* was *Reena*, *Mr. Well-Dressed* was *Himmat Singh* and *Miss Well-Dressed* was *Drishti Kakkar*.

 

The programme ended with all the subject teachers sharing their emotions. An inspiring speech was given by the Principal of the school. She shared her experiences and showered blessings upon the outgoing batch. She also gave them tips to score better in their Board exams.

 

The students and staff then proceeded to a sumptuous lunch. The students, the staff and the management had group photographs clicked as the everlasting memories of the outgoing batch. The outgoing students became emotional and shared gifts with their class teacher and subject teachers. They gifted digital clocks for all the classrooms, a microwave for staffroom and a DSLR Camera to the school as farewell gifts to school.
