School Seminar on 'Talks For Change'

School Seminar on 'Talks For Change'

'Just when I think I have learned the way to live, life changes.

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world.

Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.'

Even though change can be difficult, many times it’s also for the best. Accomplishing anything great in life requires us to make significant changes that push us beyond our comfort zones. Often, the only way to improve our lives is to force ourselves to undergo difficult changes and challenges.

Of course, dealing with uninvited changes in our lives is often quite difficult and painful. But whatever kind of changes you are dealing with, know that you will learn to cope, and that you have a unique opportunity to shape your future.

A seminar by 'Talks for Change' (The Power of Habits) was held in the school for the students of Classes- VIII to X in the auditorium on 16th October 2019.

The talk show provided valuable assistance to students, helping them with their academic goals, their social, personal and their career developments. It cleared their mind blocks and gave them an insight to fight for the right.

It proactively engaged the students to put new knowledge into practice and to assess their own progress. The resource person, Mr. Rahul Mehta urged and inspired the students to challenge their old assumptions, rationales and ways of doing things, and to think about solving not just for the problems of today, but for those in the future as being the builders of tomorrow.

It was an interactive session where students asked questions and learnt the inevitability of change and its adaption.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.”  -- Barak Obama
