‘I really believe that everyone has a talent, ability, or skill that he can mine to support himself and to succeed in life.’

We all have remarkable talents which only we may possess not any other. Our unique talents make us stand apart from others. Our unique talents define our personalities and our perspective and outlook towards life. This day (24^th November) is an unofficial holiday of unknown origins which encourages people to wholeheartedly accept their unique talents and showcase them to the world. We must do everything to let the world know our uniqueness.

The Aryan School presented - ‘The Grand Talent Show’- Competition (for Nursery to Class 12th) on the occasion of ‘Celebrate Your Unique Talent Day’ observed every year on 24th November. The students expressed their talents which were in visual arts, performing arts, literature and many more areas. They possessed extraordinary talent in juggling, unique math skill, acting/ mimicry, singing, dancing, unique painting/ craft skill, presenting a tradition of a place in the most unique way, different performances using props like board, stick, rope, hula hoop etc, some fun loving tricks and lots more.

 

Special care was taken that performances/activities which might be disrespectful or offensive to any person, caste/ community/ religion, risky, harmful or dirty/ messy to perform, was not allowed.

 

When students are praised and appreciated for their talents, they feel happy about it. This boosts their self-confidence, self-esteem and creativity.

 

The school conducted it in the respective classes for Junior Category and in the school Assembly Hall for Middle Category by inviting parents and conducting it in the school Auditorium for Senior Category. The school also invited other schools of the city / surrounding areas and conducted it like a Grand Inter School Competition.

 

The Activity Manual had all the required instructions/ description and rules of different competitions suggested for each class. Required resources such as handouts, worksheets etc were provided along with the Activity Manual to each school representatives. The invitations for the Grand Inter School Talent Hunt Competition were sent two weeks before to the schools so that the participants could get at least a week for preparations.
