Policy for Tabulation of Marks for Class XII Board Exams 2021- 17/6/2021
Four states have not decided yet:
The Supreme Court
is now considering the issue of State Board Examinations. Petitioner
says that 24 out of 28 states have already cancelled Board Exams, no decision
was taken by some states, Kerala has already conducted class 12 Exams. Four
states - Assam, Punjab, Tripura and Andhra Pradesh - have not
yet taken any decision. The court will hear again on Monday.
Dissatisfied students will be able to give exam:
During this hearing,
the court said to pay attention to two points. The first thing is that
if a student has any complaint in his marks, then it should be resolved.
Second, the government
should decide on which day the result will come and what will be the date
of the optional exam.
Students dissatisfied
with the results declared on the basis of the formula will have the option
to appear in the examination. The exam dates will be announced once the
situation normalises. The final result of 12th class of the students
appearing in the examination will be considered only on the marks scored in the
examination.
Attorney General in
Supreme Court K. Venugopal told that the CBSE 12th result will come
by 31 July 2021. Like CBSE, ICSE has also told the Supreme
Court the policy of releasing the 12th results. The 12th mark sheet
will be made on the basis of the number of 10th (with regard to project
and practical) and then the number found in 11th and 12th project and
practical. Last year also ICSE had declared the 12th results with
the same policy. In the Supreme Court, ICSE said that last year's
result was objected to by only 10 students, who had given the improvement paper
later. ICSE said that we will declare the 12th results by July 30.
The Supreme Court has accepted the marks policy of CBSE and ICSE.
Now both the Boards can work on their respective policy.
