Report on Investiture Ceremony in School
“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn
more, do more and become more, you are a leader.”

As
a tradition, the school invests the Students' Council, constituted after
undergoing a thorough procedure of selection and election, with their
responsibilities on Republic Day. These are the leaders nurtured by the
school through the years. The Class Teachers & School Election Committee
checks, tests and questions the eligibility criteria of the candidates set by
the school. Various rounds of selection take place. And the final list
of Student Council is displayed for the school students. These selected Council
candidates do canvass for themselves and propose their vision for their school.
All the students and teachers of the school vote in the democratic way.
This Investiture Ceremony in School is a
miniature form of country’s democratic election process.

“I have three precious things, which I hold fast and
prize. The first is gentleness; the second is frugality; the third is humility,
which keeps me from putting myself before others. Be gentle and you can be
bold; be frugal and you can be liberal; avoid putting yourself before others
and you can become a leader among men.” – Lao Tsu, Chinese philosopher
